Restorative Education
Restorative Educator Level 2 Training
This training will build upon the basics of Restorative Practices presented in Level 1 Training. Additional time and training will focus on teachers and administrators leading Circles as a consistent method to connect with one another, develop deeper knowledge and understanding of individuals to improve academic performance and overall happiness and satisfaction in the school building. Participants will also be given instruction on leading Restorative Conferences as a method to address conflict and/or rules being broken in school. The Restorative Conference method allows for a positive discipline alternative that provides everyone involved in the incident to have a voice and develop an agreement. This method focuses on maintaining relationships and teaching important SEL skills such as conflict resolution, impact of behavior on others and accountability.
